Workshop Leader
Would you like a leadership role of training other young people in personal development and peer support skills? Would you like to develop your facilitation and presentation skills?
Workshops generally run during the day. Our workshops are interactive workshops for young people, including our Address the Stress workshop, and the weekend extravaganza Good2Great. They aim to up-skill young people so that they can make it through life. We will train you up over an evening in facilitation skills, and how to deliver each workshop type that you deliver. You will be paired with an more experience presenter for your first workshops. You do need confidence in speaking to groups of young people. This is an occasional commitment as our workshops are provided by request. |
Events Volunteer
Want to support Youthline? Want an easy way in? We run several one-off awareness and fundraising events throughout the year.
These include Christmas in the Park, an Annual Appeal, and a Bunnings BBQ. We also love hearing about ideas for events that YOU have. |
Social Media Team
Our Instagram and Facebook pages provide a daily post about how to make it through the day, and even how to make it a little better.
You would research and make a weekly post about skills for positive mental health, and hoping to create an online community that cares about each other. |
Professional Skilled Volunteer
We love skills-based volunteering. If you have a specific skill or specialty, and you are interested in contributing that to Youthline, please get in touch.
We are especially looking for a: graphic designer, IT support and a counselling training programme writer. In your email please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what you do and how you'd like to volunteer (project-based, certain number of hours per week, in the office, remotely, etc) - it is always really helpful to receive a CV as well. |
