Mentoring

What is mentoring?

Mentoring is a one-on-one relationship, usually with a youth worker, who will work with you to determine your goals, and a plan to achieve them so you get to where you want to be.

A mentor can help you set education goals, create a CV, develop skills to find a job, find relevant courses and build your confidence socially and professionally.

Face to Face Mentoring – Auckland

Explore future goals alongside someone who will listen and can help. Mentors can help with a range of things, they can be as simple as a listening ear, or they can support you to:

  • Stay in school
  • Create a CV
  • Find a job our course
  • Get your drivers license
  • Learn new skills
  • Build your confidence

It all depends on who you are and what you need. You might be in an awesome space and need to bounce ideas off someone, or you might be feeling really stressed and need some help with next steps.
