We provide individual counselling for people who are 12 to 24 years old.
What can I Expect when I contact you?
When you contact us we will ask you a few questions and go through what is called an initial intake assessment. The assessment is a broad conversation about areas of your life that you might be seeking support for from counselling, and any sources of strength you have currently.

How long until I can see a counsellor?
Each centre has varying wait times. We will let you know the first time we contact you.
How much will it cost?
We offer an initial meeting with a counsellor free of charge so that you can discuss things like what’s involved, what you are looking for and how the cost can be covered. This also gives you a chance to decide whether you would like to go forward with them or meet someone else.
After this, the cost for counselling is $70.00 per session. Our counsellors can support you to access funding from places like Work and Income if you are eligible (click here to see Work and Income’s website).

Where will i see my counsellor?
Our counselling service is located in the Youthline Office at Northcote Office Park, Unit 4, 145 Queen Street, and also offer some counselling in Pahiatua.
