We design seminars and workshops for young people, professionals and those who work with young people.

​Check out our existing seminars and workshops below which run on a regular basis every semester, or touch base about a bespoke seminar for your office or classroom. 

For our school based seminars, we work from an interactive and creative framework which is aligned to the NZ curriculum and explores many social issues. Professional facilitators, artists and Youth Workers offer a tailored approach to working with school groups. An interactive action orientated methodology is used to assist engagement and development of students.

For those who work with young people

Helpline Risk Practice Seminar

This seminar is designed to review procedures for risk assessment, working with helpline clients to lower their level of risk, and try out your skills in a safe, friendly environment, and get valuable feedback from peers and experienced counsellors.

Self Care and Wellbeing

This seminar provides learners with the understanding and tools to keep young people safe in situations involving abuse or neglect, as well as referrals and services to use in such situations.

Helpline Mentoring Workshop

In up-skilling to mentoring helpline counsellor you'll gain new perspectives on your own counselling work that will strengthen your toolbox of skills and approaches. You'll also build a new set of valuable skills and experiences to transfer into your study, professional or personal life.

Positive Youth Development Seminar

By attending this seminar you will understand the principles of Youth Development Strategy Aotearoa and have good resources to learn more about Positive Youth Development and strengths based practice.

HEeADDSSS Risk Assessment

Is an acronym for a youth friendly holistic assessment of need. In this seminar you will learn how to conduct a HEeADDSSS assessment and have a chance to understand what's going on for young people.
