UnityDesigned for 13-15 year olds to gain a deeper understanding of self; including identity, culture and leadership.
Unity aims to empower young people to pursue their dreams by strengthening their community of support and equipping them with the tools they need to overcome the challenges they are facing. This programme is underpinned by Mason Durie’s Te Whare Tapa Wha model. |
Standing TallIs a youth development programme that encourages the participants to walk with confidence in who they are. It explores their ability to make positive choices for themselves and role model these behaviours to their peers.
Designed for 16-24 year olds and is a 6-8 week programme where youth are equipped with the knowledge and tools to explore personal development and leadership. Based on the needs identified by stakeholders, participants will engage in activities underpinned by topics like how to handle stress and anger, healthy relationships, build self-worth and life skills, practise relating and communicating, and develop strategies to make positive changes and choices. Through the programme, young people achieve greater level of self-awareness and strength in order to navigate successfully through years of transition. |

Youth Health Councils address a wide range of issues: mental wellbeing, bullying, fitness and exercise, healthy eating and nutrition, peer pressure, stress, relationships, service gaps, youth rights and much more.
Together they increase the health status of young people by:
Youthline Auckland supports almost 30 Youth Health Councils across the Auckland region, encompassing a range of schools and young people. We also have developed a bunch of resources that you can use in your school to set up your own Youth Health Council. |
The Stand Up! Programme is a Youth Development Programme that Youthline runs in 3 secondary schools and 6 Alternative Education courses in Counties Manukau for young people whose lives are influenced by alcohol and other drugs.
