This week saw the first Youthline paid staff  team day of 2011 held out at Blockhouse Bay Boatclub.

A fantastic day was had by all, where we learned a lot about ourselves and our colleagues through sociometry continuums- who would of thought we had so many skinny dippers among us!

Everyone made significant progress on their individual development plans, which was the main goal of the day.

In the afternoon 'mission mayhem' took place- you can read the song lyrics from one of the challenges below.

Finally a big thank you to Jack and Subway for the delicious food, the organisers for making the day run smoothly and to everyone who participated and made the day what it was.

Song Lyrics- sung to the tune of 'Stand by Me'

When the lights go out

And the phones stay on

And the triage peeps keep working into the night

They will cry

They will moan

They will stay on the phones

And the roof just keeps leaking on and on

Oh Stephen, Stephen

What will it take

Just give us a break

We did our best to do our bloody IDP's

Downstairs we will go

To the dungeons below

where the youth workers with new carpet

call it home

No we don't use F.B

Not allowed USB

But we work really hard just the same

So Nemo Nemo

Fix our laptops

The printer has stopped

And the only virus we share is da flu

Up to F&F we will go

To that budget we will blow

Our hands held out and our heads hung low

Hey SAS, Sassy ladies

Where'd our young people go?

F2F, Fresh Start. YTS Follow ups

Oh Sassy, Sassy ladies (and Julian and Tim!)

We really love your work

And Youthline is the best place to be heard

Oh Sassy, Sassy Youthline and volunteers

We really love your work

And Youthline is the best place to be heard
