Youthline needs donations from New Zealanders to help fund the many programmes, services and resources we provide to young New Zealanders and their families.

 

We need money to fund nationally accessible services such as the free 0800 Youth Help Line which receives over 300,000 at an annual cost of over $80,000 annually. Youthline has an established donor base that has enabled Youthline to support young people and their families since 1970. However the need for more donors is always present in order to provide free or low user cost programmes, services and resources.

 

Youthline has a number of ways for donations including regular mailout campaigns but this is an expensive process. Since 2007 we have been able to make available online donations which also includes an online shop. We have a small team dedicated to maintaining and building our base of donors through a variety of methods outlined below.
