Face to face Internship

These programmes operate to ensure that counsellors in training are adequately resources, supervised, and accountable as they make the transition to being a Face to Face counsellor/practitionor. It is a requirement of these groups that members are also involved in an approved outside training organisation .

Cost $195 per semester


Core Face to Face Team
A training and supervision group for Youthline’s Face to Face Counsellors to facilitate development as a counsellor, as a member of Youthline, and as a practitioner involved in youth and community development. All face to face counsellors at Youthline must participate in a supervision group.
Cost: $195 per semester


Introduction to Group Dynamics & Facilitation
An introductory course that will enable participants to develop themselves and their skills as leaders of groups.  You will learn the basics of how groups form and function, including exploring some theoretical models and some tools that assist groups in their process.  You will also have the opportunity to practise your facilitation skills, and receive feedback and coaching in a supportive environment.
This programme runs for 6 x 3 hour evening weekly sessions and 2 full Saturdays.


Youthline Facilitators (FACT) Team Meetings
The FACT team is a team of senior Youthline members who facilitate Youthline’s training and development programmes. The team meets from 7pm -10pm on the first Thursday evening of each month, February through to December, for linking and business, supervision for group work practice, and specific training as required.
