What are your views about the proposal of raising the drinking age.

it seems the government can't change its mind about this issue. i remember when they lowered it to 18 an now they a proposing on lifting it again.

Do you think this is a good move?

Well personally, I think if this succeeds it will have a strong impact on communities. Because alot of young people are getting away with false identification, indicating that their alot older than what they actually are. So that they are not only able to get alcohol for themselvs but for minors aswell.

And by raising the age from 18, I think is suitable purely because it set's a standard out there, that under age drinking is not to be tolerated.

I love it! thats awesome, i know it may not make a difference but its :L a step to havning more youth at home rather than out drinking or behind bars because of under age drinking.

:O Today getting a hold of alcohol has become easier as the youth of today are growing up so much, some alcohol stores dont ask for id thats not good! ?!

Yep i say, go ahead, its not to take away the privilledges but to encourage young people that theres more to life than just alcohol and parties..!
