Youthline Wants You!

Youthline are looking for people of all ages to join their personal development courses starting in Manukau, Ponsonby, Waitakere and the North Shore in February.

The 14 session evening courses cover communication and listening skills and give people the opportunity to learn more about themselves in a group setting.
The courses are also the beginning of professional level training to work as a Youthline volunteer for those who want to become more involved in the organisation.

Youthline volunteers are involved in a range of areas including telephone, text and email counselling, events, seminars, school visits and running programmes with young people.
Youthline's programme coordinator Cathy Aiavao says "Being part of Youthline is a great way to meet people, learn more about yourself, set goals, improve your communication and give something back to the community."
